About the Society

The Barrel and Mash Society is a group of individuals dedicated to the preservation of American Whiskey traditions.

Supporting the discovery of new distillers and celebrating the re-emergence of the founding fathers of Great American Whiskey, The Barrel and Mash Society strives to generate interest and appreciation for all aspects of American Whiskey.

Not unlike the French and their Wines or the Germans and their Beers, Americans have every right to be proud of their Whiskeys and the Barrel and Mash Society works to help foster that Pride.

By communicating, collaborating, educating and most importantly, TASTING, the Barrel and Mash Society strives to keep passion and excitement ingrained in American Whiskey.
